Your responsibilities will include

• • Strategic leadership, planning, and development of the IT infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Active Directory hybrid deployment)
• • Managing desktop support, software licensing, and deployment strategies
• • Representing IT during internal and external audits
• • Supporting data protection and quality management systems
• • Overseeing administration and optimization of network infrastructure, including firewall and VPN
• • Managing user access rights and resources on a project basis
• • Ensuring validation of software systems, overseeing change management processes
• • Directing data backup, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives
• • Authoring of standard operating procedures
• • Providing hands-on technical support and acting as the escalation point for complex IT issues across the organization
• • Leading, mentoring, and developing the IT team while actively contributing to day-to-day IT operations and technical projects
• • Evaluating and implementing AI tools and process automation in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring secure integration into the existing IT environment

Your profile

• • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical qualification
• • Minimum of five years of experience in IT management or senior-level system administration
• • Proven experience with Windows and Linux system administration
• • Solid knowledge and experience in managing terminal server solutions (RDP)
• • Extensive IT security knowledge and experience in managing secure IT environments
• • Experience with software and platform validation according to GAMP5 is advantageous
• • Strong leadership and communication skills
• • Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical industry) is a plus
• • Interest in AI technologies and process automation; practical experience with deploying and administering AI solutions, including locally hosted systems, is an advantage
• • Fluent English required; proficiency in German advantageous
• • Residence in Munich or willingness to relocate to Munich to support the team in-office
